Peleș Castle with its spires against the wooded Carpathian mountainside

Peleș Castle Tickets — Adult Entry

Ground floor + first floor · timed entry

Reserve my entry time

The adult ticket is admission to Peleș Castle on the standard Ground Floor + First Floor tour route — the Hall of Honour with its sliding stained-glass ceiling, the 4,000-piece armoury, and the themed royal salons. Entry is by timed slot, so we reserve your chosen date and time on the operator portal and send it to your phone. English-language guided tours run on site at set times at no extra cost.

What's included

Every booking includes the elements below — handled by our concierge team before your visit and confirmed at the entrance.

• Peleș Castle entry — the Ground Floor + First Floor tour route, including the Hall of Honour, the armoury, and the royal reception and music rooms • Reserved timed entry — your chosen date and entry time, secured in advance • English-language guided tours run on site at set times at no extra cost • 5-minute audio history sent before your visit • Booking handled in English on the operator portal

Who this is for

The adult ticket suits visitors aged 18 and over. Reduced-rate tickets for students, pupils and seniors exist at the castle but require Romanian or EU eligibility documents shown in person, so for international visitors the adult ticket is the straightforward choice.

On the day

Peleș Castle stands in Carpathian forest above Sinaia, built from 1873 for King Carol I and the first castle in Europe lit entirely by its own electricity. Arrive about 15 minutes before your slot, put on the shoe covers handed out at the door, and show your mobile ticket. The castle is open Wednesday to Sunday — Wednesday 10:00–17:00, Thursday to Sunday 09:15–17:00 — and closed Mondays, Tuesdays and all of November.

Frequently asked

Is my entry for a specific time?
Yes — Peleș admits visitors in timed groups, so your ticket is for the date and entry time you choose at checkout, guaranteeing admission at that slot.
Is it skip-the-line?
Your entry time is reserved before you arrive, so you go straight to the entrance for your slot instead of queuing at the ticket office.
Is there an English guided tour?
Yes — English-language guided tours form at the entrance at set times through the day at no extra cost, or you can visit at your own pace.
How long should I allow?
About an hour to 1.5 hours inside, plus the uphill walk from Sinaia and time for the shoe covers at the entrance.
